Overview & Features

nanoSUS™ is a stainless steel that has ultrafine grained (UFG) microstructures with average grain sizes smaller than 1 μm. Compared to normal material, various property improvements can be expected, such as strength, fatigue properties, and workability by controlling the microstructure.

nanoSUS 304 uses SUS304 raw material. The 2B finish of nanoSUS304 has higher hardness and higher yield strength compared to the ordinary 2B finish. However, it maintains maintains almost the same formability as ordinary SUS304 and improves strength while maintaining workability.
We can produce different types of mechanical properties and grain sizes according to your requests and required characteristics. Please contact us for details.
